Masar Makkah Towers, Makkah, KSA – Architectural Competition Jury
Concept & Vision
At the invitation of a real estate developer with whom we have a partnership of more than twenty years, we took part in judging the design proposals for two residential towers in the Masar Makkah project, on plots SS-16 and BN-14. Three international design firms from Canada, Turkey and the UAE competed for the project. Over two months, we took part in a series of workshops to review and discuss the presentations, and prepared technical evaluation reports using a professional critical-analysis methodology. The judging concluded in several stages with the design being awarded to a local engineering office in Riyadh.
